Yarn of your choice and a matching crochet hook
(usually 0.5 or 1 size smaller than marked on the yarn)
For eyes/nose: safety nose, eyes / black, pink yarn /
black, white felt (whatever you prefer)
Stuffing
MR – magic ring
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
dec – single crochet 2 together
Rounds are not joined, so it’s useful to use a stitch
marker to mark the beginning of the rounds.
If you don't like the increasing/decreasing lines, divide the increasings/decreasings on the round so that they don't match with previous rounds.

ReplyDeleteHello! I'm crocheting this for my soon to be born nieces. I'm working on the body but my stitch marker fell out. Can you tell me how much the body should measure before I start decreasing? Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteHI! It's difficult to say the measurements because in different yarns it measures differently.
DeleteJust count the rows you have already done and continue from there. Also it helps when you look at the magic ring and the beginning of the second round. There you can see, were the beginning of the round shoul approximately be.
Hello-I'm new to Amigurumi and am trying to start with simple projects. My 1st project used increasing and I understand that part of the Bunny Jänks pattern, but I don't understand the decrease part. (Head & body, starting with round 13). I would really appreciate any help, this pattern is adorable and I can't wait to start!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Hello Cheriann1970! You can see how to decrease in amigurumi projects e.g. in this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUBbOZ1Ennk ). June from PlanetJune explains it quite good, I think! Have fun crocheting!
